Live folding by Robert J. Lang

2008 Feb 16

We met at the Indianapolis Museum of Art to watch Robert J. Lang folding his Indy Heron model from 5 foot square paper.  Robert was in the Star Studio at the museum.  As he folded, Robert took questions from the audience.  It was amazing to see how comfortable he was with folding such large paper and talking at the same time.  The audience was much more than the IRON Folders and it was quite a large crowd.  The Star Studio already had many of Robert’s works on display.  The exhibition is to open on Tuesday February 18, 2008 and run through July 2008.  The Indianapolis Museum Art took a video of the process that you can see at their site.More pictures on bkwebb photostream on Flickr.
